Berlin - Samsung Mobile will expand its Galaxy smartphone sub-brand to a portable tablet device with 7-inch screen, cellular video-calling capability, e-reader function, and wireless web browsing with full Flash support, the company announced.

Details of the product will be released here on Sept. 2.

Other features will include HD video support, integrated camera/camcorder, navigation and what Samsung Telecom called "augmented reality."

The company released a teaser video but didn't offer additional comment as of this post.
