Tempe, Ariz. - Rockford Fosgate said it is shipping Power-series car speakers that have been newly engineered from the ground up by a new development team led by loudspeaker design director Drew Kallen.
The component and full-range speakers offer more power output for the size and use audiophile-grade component external crossovers with 5 percent tolerance, said Rockford, which claimed the speakers took years to develop.
Component speaker sizes include 5.25-inch and 6.5-inches with 1-inch tweeters and full-range speakers range from 4 inches to 6 by 9 inches. Coaxials start at $199 and component systems at $399, Rockford said.
