Tempe, Ariz. - Rockford Corporation announced it will become the reseller of Panasonic Car Electronics for North America through a partnership with Pana-Pacific.

Rockford said it will provide all technical support, customer service and warranty service for the Panasonic models offered. Products will be sold through Rockford's network of 12-volt specialty retailers.

Two in-dash stereo models will initially be offered, starting at $99 and $139, beginning March 7. Additional models will follow in Q3 and Q4 of this year, the company said.

"Our goal is to provide a value to our dealers," said Bill Jackson, president and CEO of Rockford Corporation.  "They need a profitable, sheltered line of in-dash stereos that they can pair with our speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers. Panasonic is a respected brand in the marketplace, and we're excited to work with Pana-Pacific to bring audiophiles the very best."
