Ardmore, Pa. — Specialty A/V dealer and integrator World Wide Stereo has relocated and upgraded one of its two Philadelphia-area showrooms.

The store, located here, was moved to a larger neighboring space and redesigned as an interactive “experiential retail center” that showcases the company’s high-performance products and integration technologies.

Renamed the Technology and Design Gallery, the store “creates a completely immersive experience for the client, bringing to life the possibilities of integrating high-end audio, video, lighting, shade and climate control, surveillance and all the newest integrated technologies,” said World Wide Stereo president Bob Cole. “We have always represented the best of the best, and this new concept will offer a complete showcase for our products and services within an interactive environment, transforming dreams into reality.”

The showroom offers specialized demonstrations, consultations and support for homeowners, professional designers, interior decorators and architects, and features a model of a multimillion-dollar home theater designed by engineer Keith Yates utilizing such top brands as McIntosh, Bowers & Wilkins, and Sim2.

The new location also boasts a state-of-the-art integrated kitchen space by design partner Blue Bell Kitchens, and a “satellite experience center” for lighting and shade solutions by energy partner Lutron.

World Wide operates a second showroom in Montgomeryville, Pa., and an outlet center in Hatfield. It lays claim to being the only company in Pennsylvania certified by IMAX to design and install their exclusive private theaters.

The new Ardmore facility will officially open on June 24.
