SunBrite Joins Best Buy’s Outdoor Assortment

Updated! Minneapolis — Best Buy has added SunBriteTV to its assortment of outdoor A/V products, and is featuring the company’s all-weather 1080p displays in dedicated areas within select Magnolia Home Theater departments and online.

According to a Best Buy spokesman, the retailer has previously merchandised outdoor products together in various parts of its stores.

But with the creation of dedicated outdoor areas within the premium Magnolia A/V departments, SunBrite has expanded distribution to 123 additional Best Buy doors, for a total of 181 stores in the U.S. and Canada, the vendor said.

Other brands in Best Buy’s outdoor assortment include Bose, Definitive Technology, Klipsch, Niles, Peerless and Yamaha.

According to Bill Bazemore, president of Nationwide Furniture, a division of the Nationwide Marketing Group, outdoor living has become a $4 billion business and is growing rapidly, as consumers look to enjoy spring and summer on fully appointed patios.

 SunBrite brand marketing director Jonathan Johnson said his company’s TVs are “a key element of the outdoor entertaining trend, which is only getting stronger” as consumers choose to spend more time outside. “Outdoor living is here to stay,” he said.

Best Buy has also launched a dedicated outdoor TV section online, featuring SunBrite’s selection of outdoor-rated TVs and accessories.
