Phoenix — Starpower, the Dallas-based premium A/V specialty chain, has been honored by the Phoenix business community for exceptional marketing success in electronics.
The privately held dealer, which operates a 6,200-square-foot showroom here, was bestowed a 2013 Phoenix Award for its accomplishments. The program recognizes local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and the community, and have demonstrated the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
Starpower received its award for its “excellence in retailing high-end, custom installations of audio, video, security, home automation and electronic automation,” and for carrying “the finest brands of audio/video equipment, some of which are rarely seen outside of Hollywood’s top studios,” the Phoenix Award Program said.
Starpower is owned and operated by brothers Daniel and David Pidgeon and is a member of the ProSource buying group.
