BrandSource Launching Digital Platform For Integrators

Anaheim, Calif. – BrandSource’s system integrators will soon have a complete digital merchandising, marketing and sales solution that’s tailored to the unique needs of their channel.

Leveraging existing infrastructure, the buying group has developed a comprehensive digital platform with both customer-facing and back-end elements that include a website, mobile app, traffic metrics, a database of boutique specialty lines, and social media and search engine optimization (SEO) functions.

According to Jim Ristow, executive VP of BrandSource’s Home Entertainment Source (HES) specialty A/V division, a comparable program was first developed for BrandSource’s TV and appliance dealers. The newest iteration has been beta-tested for over a year by the more than one dozen integrators that helped develop it, and is ready for roll-out to all of the group’s specialty members.

He said the completely customizable platform will be available for several hundred dollars a month, compared to the tens of thousands it would typically cost individual dealers to build from scratch.

 Ristow added that HES and its sister division, the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group), “continue to evolve” toward a reorganization under the ProSource banner, as first announced last spring.
