Escort To Donate $10K To Komen From Pink Detector

West Chester, Ohio — Escort will host a Susan G. Komen formal donation event tomorrow, Oct. 29, raised with the proceeds from its limited-edition pink radar detector.

Donations for the campaign were collected as a dedicated part of the proceeds from Escort’s Passport 9500ix Susan G. Komen for the Cure windshield-mount radar detector. The detector, which featured a white and pink design, was in direct support of the Susan G. Komen and the national October Breast Cancer Awareness month, Escort said.

“We have a long history of doing more for our customers than anyone else in the category, and now, with this donation and support of Breast Cancer awareness with our Komen for the Cure limited-edition 9500ix radar detector, we are helping women and families beyond our traditional reach and in countless ways,” said Dave Smidebush, Escort marketing VP.

A $10,000 check will be presented to the Susan G Komen Cincinnati chapter at Escort’s headquarters, here, tomorrow.
