Las Vegas - U.K.-based Pure Audio, which arrived in North America in 2010 with a variety of tabletop Internet radios, is arriving at CES with its first AirPlay-equipped speaker and its first tabletop Internet radio with time-shifting capability.

The company's first AirPlay-equipped speaker is the Contour 200i, which features Ethernet port, embedded Wi-Fi and an embedded dock to play and charge iPods, iPhones and iPads. The dock captures audio from the mobile devices in digital PCM form.

At a tentative suggested $329, it features 36-watt RMS output, digital coaxial audio output for connection to an A/V system, free iPod and iPhone apps to access Internet radio content, Ethernet port, aux input, multi-color display, and credit-card remote to control Apple-device functions.

Other features include aux input, multi-color LED status indicator, credit-card-size remote to select stored music, and a Pure Lounge app to access thousands of live and on-demand Internet radio stations and podcasts.

Top-mount controls are available for volume up/down, standby, and mute functions.

It measures 14.6 inches by 9.1 inches by 6.9 inches.

The new time-shifting tabletop Internet radio is the Sensia 200D Connect, an elliptical-shaped radio with 5.7-inch color touchscreen, FM radio, access to more than 15,000 Internet radio stations, and ability to record Internet radio programs to a USB memory stick.

It's expected to ship in March at a suggested retail of about $450.

Users can set the radio in advance to record up to three Internet-radio programs. It also delivers immediate one-touch recording. Recorded programs are playable on the 200D as well as one the company's Sirocco 550 Internet radio. The length of recorded programs depends on the USB stick's memory.

The new model offers many of the same features as its $349 predecessor, the original Sensia, but adds recording as a major new feature as well as a faster. Improved user interface. Other features include built-in Wi-Fi, optional Ethernet dongle that plugs into the radio's USB port, and optional ChargePAK rechargeable battery pack for on-the-go use.

Like the current Sensia, the new model also streams music from a network PC or NAS device, streams photos from a PC or the Picasa photo-sharing site, access Facebook and Twitter, and receive weather reports and RSS feeds.

The new model also boats improved audio with more accurate timbre, higher resolution, and improved separation.

Other features include 25- watt RMS Class D amp, bass and trebvle controls, kitchen and sleep timers, 40 station presets, aux input, and two alarms.
