Indianapolis — Klipsch Group appointed Oscar Bernardo as president of global operations.

Bernardo, an eight-year Klipsch veteran, was sales and operations senior VP for Klipsch Group’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business. He joined Klipsch Group in 2006 and shortly thereafter became operations senior VP. As sales and operations senior VP for the EMEA region, he was responsible for all aspects of business involving the Klipsch, Energy and Jamo audio brands in 19 countries, the company said.

Before joining Klipsch, he served in executive- and management-level positions focused on operations at Audio Products International, Fineline Circuits Limited and Campeau.

“With his new team of engineers, program managers, financial analysts, vendors and more, Bernardo is immediately focused on making Klipsch Group an even stronger competitor in its respective market segments,” the company said. “Alongside CEO Paul Jacobs, he looks to carry out the company’s current vision that will result in numerous new product launches in 2014.”

Jacobs commented, “Oscar brings nearly 30 years of operations experience to our leadership team and has earned the reputation as a trusted and respected leader throughout his time with us.”
