Goddard Named Kaleidescape Sales VP

Sunnyvale, Calif. – Buzz Goddard, formerly NetStreams sales VP, has been named Kaleidescape sales VP.

Goddard is a 25-year CEDIA channel veteran, and last worked in a similar capacity with NetStreams, a company that pioneered networked audio, video and control systems.

Earlier in his career Goddard served in sales executive leadership roles at Kloss Video and Lexicon.

At Kloss Video, he introduced large-screen, two-piece projection television systems into the residential market. At Lexicon, he led the company into the residential market and was responsible for launching digital surround processing, Dolby Digital, THX and DTS audio processors.

Following Lexicon’s acquisition by Harman International, he also managed sales and marketing for the Citation and Audioaccess brands, driving sales for all three brands simultaneously.

Goddard also served as a found CEDIA board member.

“Buzz Goddard understands high-end consumer electronics brands as well as technology products that have high value-add services and support, such as Kaleidescape’s movie servers,” said Cheena Srinivasan, founder and CEO of Kaleidescape. “Buzz’s passion for both products and the custom electronics industry makes him well suited to lead our sales efforts.”

“We live in a world full of devices, many of which do the same thing, and every manufacturer has nearly an identical feature set in their offerings,” said Goddard. “What I find refreshing about Kaleidescape is that the company has focused on defining, creating and leading a new category with products and services that have remained fresh and entertaining for more than a decade. Kaleidescape’s products and its new store are unique, and the timing is very fortuitous for the custom channel.”
