CTA Names Tiffany Moore Congressional Affairs VP

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced Tiffany Moore has been named congressional affairs VP.

Moore most recently worked as a consultant for TwinLogic Strategies, a boutique government relations firm. She earned the Washington Government Relations Group Lobbyist of the Year award in July for her work on technology policy.

She launched Moore Consulting, a government relations and social media consulting firm, in 2010 after serving as senior legislative advisor in the Legislative and Government Affairs Practice Group at Venable LLP. She also served as Assistant U.S. Trade Representative, Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR).

Moore will be responsible for CTA’s lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill on key tech issues, such as patent litigation reform, strategic immigration reform and trade. Moore will also oversee CTA’s political action committee, CTAPAC.

“I am thrilled to welcome Tiffany to the CTA family,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “When we thought of our ideal candidate for this position, Tiffany was the first person who came to mind. Her passion, experience, knowledge, dedication and skill in executing bipartisan legislative strategies will provide great value to our industry as we continue to pursue pro-innovation public policies.”

Added Michael Petricone, CTA government and regulatory affairs senior VP: “With almost 20 years of experience navigating policy and a dynamic tech landscape, Tiffany will be a phenomenal asset to CTA, one of Washington’s most vital organizations representing disruptive innovators.”
