Azione Adds DSI’s Eric Thies & D-Tools’ Tim Bigoness To Advisory Board

Azione Unlimited (AU), the integrator-focused educational buying group, has added two new members to its advisory board.

Eric Thies, president of DSI Luxury Technology, has joined as a dealer member, while Tim Bigoness, sales and marketing VP for D-Tools, has joined as a member vendor.

Said Bigoness, “Azione Unlimited is a dynamic group of like-minded integrators and manufacturers who are committed to sharing ideas and creating a better business environment for our industry. I am honored to be selected to serve in this new capacity and work with this great group of people to help Azione Unlimited and its members achieve even greater success.”

Added Thies, “I am very honored and humbled to be elected to the Azione Board. I have made an enormous amount of friends over the years.  I hope to use this board position as a vehicle to make my friends wildly successful.”

“We are very excited to welcome Tim and Eric to our board,” said AU president Richard Glikes. “Both of these gentlemen have been elected because of their industry knowledge, business acumen and intelligence. In Azione, vendors and dealers are equals, and both are members. Our board is comprised of five dealers and five vendors. We believe this inclusive formula promotes stronger business relationships and a win-win philosophy that is shared by all. We are lucky to have one hell of a management team. Great businesses are made up of great leaders.”

Other board members include Eric Bodley, president of Future Ready Solutions; George Walter, president of Rayva; Jason Sloan, chief sales officer of Dana Innovations-Sonance; Ryan Donaher, VP of Meridian America; Don Dixon, president of Definitive Electronics; Jason Voorhees, president of Cantara; Kim Michels, president of Electronic Environments; and Travis Leo, president of Residential Systems.

The group, which turns five this year, will convene next month (March 13-15) at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, for its annual Spring Conference.
