Audio-Industry Veteran Len Schneider Dies

Nutley, N.J. — Audio-industry veteran Len Schneider passed away on Monday.

Since 1994, Schneider operated TechniCom, which provided marketing, product development, training and editorial services to such clients as Adcom, B&W, Classè, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), Denon, JMlab, Kenwood, Krell, Lexicon, Marantz, Mark Levinson, PS Audio, Rotel, Sony and Thiel Audio.
Before founding TechniCom, Schneider was Adcom’s product development manager from 1992 to 1994, product manager at Marantz/Dynascan from 1990 to 1992, Onkyo USA national product and advertising manager from 1988 to 1990, and Sony national training manager from 1984 through 1988.

The Audio Engineering Society member also wrote reviews for Enjoy the Music.com and Audio magazine, wrote for The Perfect Vision, and served as senior contributing editor for Play and eTown.com.

A celebration of his life is planned by family members in the coming weeks.
