Golden, Colo. — Pentax said it would ship a special edition of its entry-level K2000 d-SLR with a white body to dealers in February.

The kit will include a pair of white lenses — the SMC Pentax DA L 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL lens and the SMC Pentax DA L 50-200mm F4-5.6 AL lens. Pricing was not announced. 

The original K2000

was launched in September

for $699. The 10-megapixel d-SLR features a 2.7-inch LCD, sensor-shifting stabilization, dust reduction and the company’s auto picture mode.
