Hauppauge, N.Y. - Wireless handset marketer and distributor Personal Communications Devices (PCD) appointed Jim Berridge as sales VP for its AT&T account.

Berridge previously was Pantech's sales and marketing VP for AT&T.

He will oversee PCD's relationship with AT&T and "will work to increase PCD's current product portfolio and strengthen its position as a leading supplier of wireless devices to AT&T," the company said.

During his Pantech tenure, Berridge managed a handset portfolio of $600 million in revenue, PCD said. Before joining Pantech, Berridge was VP of business development for GoTV Networks, where he managed sales channel marketing for AT&T, Sprint Nextel and others. He also held executive positions at Nokia, MCI Telecommunications, and UPS.
