Naperville, Ill. - OfficeMax, which has been expanding its tablet selection, has expanded its e-reader selection.

The retailer plans July 30 availability of Barnes & Noble's $139 Simple Touch Reader and $249 Nook Color Reader in stores nationwide and at OfficeMax.com. They'll join two models from Aluratek and two from Pandigital.

In tablets, the retailer added the BlackBerry Playbook in April, Acer's Iconia in May, and the HP TouchPad and Toshiba Thrive in July. They joined the Motorola Xoom and Galaxy Tab.
