Norcent said it is now shipping a 42W-inch fully integrated high-definition plasma TV set that is expected to see street retails of $1,999.

Model PT-4240HD offers updated styling, 1,024 by 768 pixel resolution and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio.

Also included in the unit are a built-in ATSC digital tuner and two 5-watt speakers.

Inputs include component video and DVI, the company said.
