Port Richey, Fla. - NextGen introduced a pair of 3D glasses that it said works with virtually any brand of 3DTV that uses active technology.

NextGen's active 3D glasses are designed to work with any brand of 3DTV.
The Active glasses ($79.95 suggested retail) can reportedly be charged with a standard USB cable. Bob Dolatowski, NextGen's president, said a three-hour charge lasts about 50 hours.

They only work with active-shutter 3D technology, a spokesman told TWICE.

Shipping is scheduled to begin Aug. 1. A case and lens cleaner are also included.
