YesVideo DVD Service Now at Brooks Eckerd

Santa Clara, Calif. — YesVideo announced a deal with Brooks Eckerd Pharmacy today that will bring YesVideo’s digital imaging and DVD burning services to 1,000 Brook Eckerd locations.

The drug store chain will offer the YesDVD analog-to-digital conversion service, which converts VHS tape, camcorder cassettes, movie film, 35mm slides and photographs to DVD discs for playback on DVD players and PCs.

VHS to DVD transfers start at $24.99 for a single VHS tape with two hours worth of video, while 35mm slides, photo prints and movie film transfers start at $29.99. Each piece of analog media requires its own DVD and can’t be mixed onto a single disc, a company spokesperson said.

Brooks Eckerd associates will collect customer’s media in-store and mail it to YesVideo for conversion and DVD authoring. YesVideo offers a two- to three-week turnaround time, the spokesperson said.

YesDVDs feature chapter points, menu screens, custom cases with personalized images, music video highlights extracted from the video and is available with optional PC editing software.

YesVideo offers a similar service through other pharmacy locations, including Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid. Best Buy sells a prepaid kit that lets consumers mail media directly to YesVideo for transfer to DVD.
