XM Sets Shareholder Meeting

6/04/2008 01:29:00 PM Eastern

Washington — XM Satellite Radio set its annual shareholder’s meeting for June 24, less than a month after Sirius Satellite Radio announced it would delay its annual meetings as it awaits final government approval of the proposed merger.

The Federal Communication Commission has yet to rule on the merger although a long-awaited decision could come by the end of the month, according to a recent statement by chairman Kevin Martin.

XM’s revised board meeting date was announced in a filing with the Securities Exchange Commission. Sirius has not yet rescheduled its board meeting, originally set for May 20. XM’s annual meeting was originally set for May 23.
