WYNIT Picks Up Concord SKUs

Hollywood, Fla. — Camera maker Concord announced that it has reached a distribution agreement with national computer and imaging distributor WYNIT.

According to Concord, WYNIT will distribute seven of the company’s higher-megapixel digital camera SKUs. The products will range from 2-megapixels to 5-megapixels and include the 4-megapixel Concord Eye-Q 4360z.

“Partnering with WYNIT will increase the availability of Concord’s digital cameras and furthers our goal of increased market penetration and share,” said Rod King, VP and director of sales, Concord.

The company has been attacking the competitive entry-level price point category in the digital camera market. According to a company financial report, Concord shipped approximately 922,000 digital cameras in 2003, compared to 260,000 in 2002, a 255-percent gain.
