Women In CE Presents Legacy Awards

Las Vegas – Women in CE, the organization dedicated to
providing networking and career growth opportunities to women in consumer
electronics, announced the recipients of its 2011 Legacy Awards during International
CES.

The award winners include Teresa Gallo, president of Market
Share; Kathy Gornik, president and CEO of Thiel Audio Products; Stacey Kerek,
general manager and COO of Lenbrook America; Jill Lynch-Wenner, senior
merchant, mobile electronics, for Best Buy; and Denise Morales, outgoing global
sales VP for Monster Cable.

Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association
(CEA), spoke at the ceremony, saluting Women in CE and speaking to the
importance of using all of resources to ensure the industry’s vitality and to
fuel the continued growth of the CE business.

Deena Ghazarian, sales director and a business unit manager
at Monster Cable Products, served as the Women in CE Legacy Award 2011 mistress
of ceremonies.
