Westinghouse Digital will be showing dealers this week its new LCD TV line featuring new 1080p/120Hz offerings and smaller screen “anywhere HD” models that incorporate optional internal antennas.

The new models will be on display at Westinghouse Digital’s off-site showroom in the Sterling Club at Turnberry Place behind the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel during International CES.

The company said the 2009 lineup will begin to “mainstream” 1080p resolution and 120Hz motion estimation technology, with models in the 37-inch, 42-inch and 47-inch screen sizes at “new leading price points.”

All three models are expected to ship around June at prices to be announced.

The 37-inch TX-37F970Z, which is scheduled to ship in June, will offer a 2,500:1 contrast ratio or 5,000:1 for Full HD, 450 nits of brightness and a 6.5ms response time. Inputs include four HDMI and two component video.

The 42-inch TX-42F970Z is listed with a 4,000:1 contrast ratio and 4ms response time, while the 47-inch TX-47F510Z features a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits of brightness, a 6.5ms response time and three HDMI inputs.

The company will also offer 1080/60Hz models in the 22-, 24-, 26, 32- and 46-inch screen sizes. All will include IT-grade resolution, enabling double use as TVs and PC monitors.

Models in 22- and 24-inch screen sizes offer 5ms response times; 300 nits of brightness; Energy Star compliance; and one HDMI, one VGA and one component video input.

The 26-inch model features 2 HDMI and 2 component video inputs, while the 32-inch model offers a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits of brightness, 4ms response time, 2 HDMI, 2 component video and one VGA input.

In addition, the company will carry starting in May the 24-inch PT-24F120S with 1080p/60Hz resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits of brightness 5ms response time, 1 HDMI and 1 component video input.

Available in February at a price to be announced will be the 46-inch VK-46F480S with 1080p/60Hz resolution, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 500 nits of brightness, 6.5ms response time, 3 HDMI, 2 component video and 1 VGA input.

Models with 1366-by-768 HD resolution include the 26-inch SK-26H630S, 32-inch SK-32635S and 37-inch SK-37H730S, which are slated to ship in February for the first two and June for the SK-37H730 at prices to be announced.

In smaller sizes, Westinghouse is offering models at 18.5 and 21.6 inches viewable screen sizes, featuring optional built-in antennas with custom design circuitry for high quality signal reception in areas with sufficient signal strength.

The system receives over-the-air ATSC broadcasts from local stations and eliminates the need for external antennas or cable connections. Westinghouse Digital said the design is “useful for those locations where no cable or antenna connection is available.”

Models include the 19-inch PT-19H340S and 22-inch PT-22H340S, both of which will ship in February at prices to be announced. Both offer 1,366 by 768 resolution and 5ms response times, and one HDMI and one set of component video inputs.

The PT-19H340 features a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits of brightness, while the PT-22H340S is listed with an 800:1 contrast ratio and 400 nits of brightness.
