Westinghouse Debuts Digital Frame

Santa Fe Springs, Calif. — Westinghouse Digital Electronics added a digital photo frame to its LCD lineup today.

The DPF-0561 is a 5.6-inch LCD frame that can display single images or slideshows from camera memory cards, including xD, SD/MMC, CompactFlash and Memory Stick, in addition to downloading images to its 8MB of internal memory from a PC via USB. It has a 320 by 234 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio.

The frame is packaged with interchangeable mahogany, black or brushed-aluminum frames.

Photos can be previewed and rotated, and slideshow effects and transition speed can be chosen through an on-screen display.

The frame is shipping now for a suggested retail price of $149.99.
