Western Digital Intros My Book Live

Lake Forest, Calif. - Western Digital introduced a new network
drive today, the My Book Live.


The Live comes in 1TB and 2TB size capacities with pricing of
$169 and $229 and it is now shipping.

The My Book Live features a built-in media server that will
stream video to a TV through a DLNA-certified multimedia device. Content stored
on the drive can be accessed remotely using Western Digital's free access

The company also announced its WD Photos photo viewer app which
is now optimized for the iPhone 4 and iPad. The free app will give remote
access to several Western Digital network drives, including the My Book World
Edition, My Book Live and WD ShareSpace.
