WD TV Live Products Get Upgraded

Irvine, Calif. —

Western Digital

released a firmware update for its WD TV Live Internet streaming players this
week that added two new services to the expanding portfolio.

Added were TuneIn Radio, which is billed as the world’s largest
Internet radio guide with more than 30,000 free radio stations, and on the WD
TV Live Hub, Deezer, a personalized on-demand music service.

Deezer was previously added to the WD TV Live and WD TV Live Plus
players.

The new firmware update, depending on the specific player, also
offers better support for media files stored on connected hard drives, local
networks, or the Internet.

WDTV Live devices now provide access to the following services:
NetFlix, YouTube, Blockbuster On Demand, Facebook, AccuWeather, Live365,
MediaFly, Flickr, Flingo, Pandora, TuneIn Radio and Deezer.

Devices also stream content from connected PCs and storage
devices in the home, and the WD TV Live Hub allows playing back stored media
files from an onboard 1TB hard disk drive.
