WD Live Devices Get Hulu Plus

said Tuesday that it is making the Hulu Plus subscription streaming
service for TV programs available to its WD TV Live Plus and WD TV Live Hub
family of media players.

Owners of the WD TV Live set-top devices will now be able to watch
TV shows, movies and catch up on previous seasons’ TV shows.

The addition of Hulu Plus has been added to a collection of
streaming entertainment services that now includes: Netflix, Blockbuster on
Demand, Cinema Now, Pandora, YouTube, Facebook, MediaFly and others.

WD TV Live Hub users will now have access to streaming Internet
radio stations via Shoutcast.

The Hulu Plus subscription service will let WD TV customers in
the U.S. watch episodes of many current hit programs from networks including: ABC,
Comedy Central, FOX, MTV, NBC and VH-1.

Popular series available on the platform include: “The Daily Show
with Jon Stewart,” “South Park,” “Modern Family,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Glee,” “Family
Guy,” “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “The X-Files,” “Law and
Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Arrested Development,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Miami
Vice,” “Ugly Betty,” “Quantum Leap,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” “Roswell”
and “Ally McBeal.”

Hulu Plus also offers hundreds of movies from the Miramax and
Criterion studio libraries.

“WD TV is known for its ability to play almost any digital file
as well as deliver hit movies, personalized music and user generated videos to
the biggest screen in the house. With the addition of Hulu Plus, we add even
more premier content services for our user community,” said Brian Miller,
director of business development for WD. “We know our users will enjoy the
ability to watch hit shows when they want.”

Hulu Plus charges a $7.99 monthly fee and includes some limited
advertising.

Shoutcast Radio, meanwhile, offers access to more than 45,000
music, talk, sports and community radio stations from around the world.

The WD TV Live Hub media center is currently available at leading
retailers for a $200 suggested retail, and the WD TV Live Plus media player carries
a $130 suggested retail.
