Santa Clara, Calif. – Vudu said Monday that major CE brands including Vizio have agreed to add special dedicated Vudu buttons to select 2011 TV, Blu-ray Disc and Internet set-top devices.
The streaming movie service noted for its major library of HDTV titles, said the “one-touch” Vudu button will be found “on CE product remotes from top brands including Vizio.
The button offers customers easy access to Vudu’s library of more than 20,000 movies and TV shows.
Customers will now be able to rent and buy popular movies and television shows through Vudu with the simple click of a button.
Specific Vizio models carrying the button include the following HDTVs, 3DTVs and Blu-ray Disc Players:
