Vonage Offers Traffic Reporting

Holmdel, N.J. — Vonage announced today a free traffic reporting service to customers in 26 states.

Vonage users can dial 511 from their Vonage-connected phones and receive local traffic reports free of charge.

According to Vonage, the call is routed from Vonage's network to a users local 511 Advanced Traveler Information Service (ATIS) based upon the address the customer registered for their 911 service.

Vonage said that there are thirty 511 systems operating in 26 states.
