Union City, Calif. — Custom video display resource Vidikron is now shipping a THX-certified high-definition 1,080p Vision Model 150 LightAmp three-chip DLP projector.
The brand’s new flagship model, which has a suggested retail starting at $99,995, uses a 1.2 kW Xenon lamp to produce the company’s “brightest 1,080p picture ever,” the company said.
The unit employs the company’s V2 Aperture Control technology to produce a high dynamic contrast ratio.
Also included is a next-generation, all-digital VHD video controller/processor with Imagix video processing.
A choice of four high-precision lenses will be available for various mounting situations. Each zoom lens features motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift capability, power zoom and power focus.
Other features include Vidikron’s CineWide and CineWide with AutoScope technologies to offer the flexibility to display a wide range of aspect ratios full screen. CineWide technology fills the entire vertical height of the screen for a true 2.35:1 widescreen presentation.
The Vision Model 150 is available in classic white or optional graphite gray chassis.
