Victor Company Names New President

Yokohama, Japan – Victor Company of Japan (JVC), parent company of JVC, has named a new president.

Kunihiko Sato, senior managing director, will assume the duties of president and representative director on June 27 subject to the approval of the company’s board at the annual meeting that day. A 30-year JVC veteran, he replaces Masahiko Terada, who will assume the post of special senior corporate advisor.

In other appointments, Shigeharu Tsuchitani, managing director, president Americas Company and JVC Americas, has been appointed corporate auditor. This appointment will also be voted on by the board on June 27.
