Morristown, N.J. — Verizon Wireless has expanded its retail presence in New York Metropolitan area with the addition of 20 BJ’s Wholesale Clubs carrying the company’s products.
In northern and central New Jersey, eight more BJ’s locations are hosting Verizon’s “store-within-a-store” kiosks to provide easy access to its wireless phones, devices and accessories, plus a variety of service plans.
Part of the company’s new relationship with BJ’s, the new stores, located in Edison, Linden, Watchung, Paramus, Riverdale, Roxbury, Jersey City and Ocean Township, will result in the creation of more than 40 new retail sales and management jobs.
In New York, Verizon has added 12 BJ stores in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland. Part of the company’s new relationship with BJ’s, the new stores, located in Brooklyn, Middle Village, College Point, Freeport, Westbury, Levittown, Farmingdale, East Setauket, Islandia, Riverhead, Yorktown Heights and West Nyack, will result in the creation of more than 60 new retail sales and management jobs.
Nationwide, Verizon Wireless will open kiosks in 128 BJ’s Clubs, creating more than 600 new jobs.
