Usher, SonyEricsson Get Wit It

Grammy-winning R&B artist Usher (left) and SonyEricsson sales and marketing VP Karen Morris announced details of the cellphone supplier’s first-ever sponsorship of a North American concert tour. The company’s excusive deal includes title sponsorship rights for the singer’s North American tour later this year. The partnership includes Usher label Sony BMG and carrier AT&T Mobility and follows the May 27 release of Usher’s “Here I Stand” album. Offerings in the campaign will include Walkman phones, access to exclusive Usher content, competitions to meet with Usher and tickets to Usher’s planned North American tour.
