Carrollton, Texas — Universal Power Group (UPG) announced the launch of a new line of cellular accessories.
UPG is a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain management services, and a global distributor of batteries, security products and related portable power products. The company’s recently hired cellular sales team will reportedly support the launch of this new product line.
The new line of cellular accessories includes car chargers, travel chargers, batteries, carrying solutions, Bluetooth headsets and speakerphones. The company will be carrying products under its own UPG brand as well as other brands, such as BlueAnt, Krusell, Motorola, Parrot and Samsung.
Tom Cattes, cellular sales manager, stated in a release, “This line will allow UPG to expand its reach into markets that it has not been able to reach in the past. With UPG’s reach and distribution network, we will have the ability to bring this line of high-quality accessories and forward-thinking Bluetooth solutions to retailers across the nation.”
Randy Hardin, president and CEO said, “This aligns with our strategic initiative to continue to expand and diversify our product mix. The cellular market is an important market, as it is one of the most rapidly growing areas in consumer electronics. We expect this line to become a significant addition to our product offerings.”
