Uniden Makes Executive Appointments

Fort Worth, Teaxs — Phone maker Uniden announced several new hires and internal promotions today.

Kip Sullivan, formerly sales VP at Jasco, was appointed as Uniden’s sales VP, overseeing the company’s largest retail accounts. Brian Tompkins was named sales manager responsible for “strategic direct accounts” as well as Uniden’s Canadian and Latin America business. Tompkins joins the company from Polyconcept USA, where he was national accounts manager.

Chris Conrad joined Uniden from rival VTech. He will serve as Uniden’s product development director.

Rex Holloway, a six-year veteran of the company, was promoted to new product development senior director. Rich Galasso, a two year Uniden employee, was tapped as marine division national sales manager.
