Fremont, Calif. –
Ultimate Ears introduced a line of earphones that features “genre-inspired
designs.”
The company, which
was
for its latest set of in-ear pro monitors, said the 100
series of noise-isolating earphones are tuned by the same engineers as the
stage models.
The earphones
feature up to 24 dB of noise isolation and come with four sizes of ear
cushions.

are as follows:
The 100 Green
Cells are said to be inspired by hip hop and feature a shiny black casing with green
silicone ear cushions and “urban-flavored artwork.”
The 100 Red
Blossom “takes its inspiration from the distinct imaginative concepts that
songwriters use to compile new songs,” the company said.
The 100 Purple
Splatter set — influenced by synthesized, electro tracks — has a white casing
that’s accented with purple ear cushions and matching artwork.
The 100 Grey
Industry pair is influenced by such rock bands as Switchfoot and Sugar Ray,
Ultimate Ears said.
Finally, the
hipster-inspired 100 Blue Robots have a blue robot on each earphone, a deep
blue cable and aqua blue ear cushions.
Each pair will
have a $19.99 suggested retail. They are expected to be available this month.
