Trufig Adds Custom Flush-Mount Solutions

8/09/2010 04:30:41 PM Eastern

San Clemente, Calif. - Trufig expanded
its selection of installation kits that make it possible to flush-mount light switches, touchscreens, keypads,
electrical outlets, and the like into walls without visually obtrusive flanges
and with a uniform industrial design.

A new Trufig install kit allows for flush-mounting of touchscreens and other components in such hard surfaces as granite and wood.

The company has begun shipping a Solid
Surface Mounting Platform that allows for flush-mount installations in such hard
surfaces as granite, marble and wood. Versions are available for single-gang,
double-gang and Crestron 6L touchscreen devices at prices ranging from $350 to more
than $1,000.

The
platform's fascias can be painted to match the surrounding surface to produce a
less-obtrusive installation, the company said. With the launch, Trufig said it
now offers flush-mount solutions for any room of the house, from kitchens,
libraries, bathrooms and bar areas, not just in rooms with drywall.

Trufig is
owned by Dana Innovations, parent of Sonance and iPort. The company debuted at last
year's CEDIA Expo with its first line of products designed to eliminate a
visual hodgepodge of on-wall light
switches, electrical outlets, audio/video wall plates and keypads.
