The top 25 players in car electronics saw a modest 2.7 percent increase in sales during 2008, but 2009 is showing signs of a shift.
As portable GPS sales flatten, many of the big-box retailers may play a lesser role in car electronics in 2009. Conversely, the role of regional CE retailers and specialists may increase.
