Avenel N.J. – Former Pioneer Mobile president Ed Sachs has been
tapped by audio wholesaler Thunderball Marketing to advise and consult its DJ
Tech Professional division.
Sachs, a managing partner with Associate Marketing Partners, will
serve as the division’s national sales manager during the consultancy assignment,
working from his West Coast office. He is tasked with helping to direct
national sales and distribution of the DJ Tech product line.
Thunderball noted that Sachs is well known in the industry and
“will increase DJ-Tech Professional’s presence in the audio community, increase
market share and secure important dealer relationships. Ed Sachs is the face
that we want to introduce DJ Tech products with. Ed’s respect in the industry
is second to none.”
Sachs began at Pioneer as a regional rep nearly 30 years ago and
retired from the company in 2009. The industry veteran is credited with
creating the recent “12-Volt Initiative,” a unified marketing campaign for the
car electronics business.

work with solid, long-time partners while I was at Pioneer, is one of the
