T-Mobile Readies 4G Mango Smartphone

Bellevue,
Wash. – T-Mobile plans fourth-quarter availability of the first Windows
smartphone for its 4G network.

The phone is HTC’s Radar 4G, which will
operate in the carrier’s 14.4MBps HSPA+ 4G network. The device will have the
latest version of the Windows Phone OS, called 7.5 or Mango.

 The device will feature an aluminum unibody
design, 3.8-inch LCD touchscreen display with virtual QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz
Snapdragon processor, fully integrated Microsoft Exchange and calendar,
Internet Explorer 9, dedicated camera button and a 5-megapixel camera with LED
flash.

 The carrier didn’t release additional details.
