Bellevue, Wash. – T-Mobile is stoking the competitive fires with a summertime promotion that eliminates the down payment on all smartphones, feature phones, tablets and other devices sold under the carrier’s no-contract, no-subsidy Simple Choice installment-payment plans.
T-Mobile’s down payments range from $0 to $199 with 24 monthly payments of $5 to $20.
The promotion, however, is available only in T-Mobile-owned stores, at www.T-Mobile.com, and T-Mobile customer care, not through national retailers or dealers, a spokesperson told TWICE.
The promotion starts July 27 for a limited time that T-Mobile did not define.
Phones eligible include the 16GB iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III, Sony Xperia Z, Nokia Lumia 925 and 521, BlackBerry Q10, HTC One, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet. The 32GB and 64GB iPhone 5 is not available with no down payment.
