SupplyStream Launches Online Dealer Catalog

Chicago — SupplyStream has gone live with an online purchasing platform that aggregates products and suppliers into a single website.

The paid platform, which had been in beta test for the past year, provides dealers and custom integrators with a customized database from which they can find product information including specs, pricing and availability, and generate proposals and place purchase orders to all their vendors.

The cost of the service is $29 per month, with the first month free, while a launch promotion takes $49 off a full year’s pre-paid service.

The company said it formally launched out of beta at CEDIA Expo in September, where dealers competed in a SupplyStream contest to build a proposal and purchase order in the fastest time. The winner came in just under 4 minutes and won a new TV for his efforts.

The launch follows the recent acquisition of online inventory exchange program Ivenshare.com, which had been employed by the Nationwide and HTSA buying groups.

In a statement, founder/CEO Kirk Chisholm thanked the thousands of dealers who participated in the beta test, and the suppliers who provided data feeds.

“We’re thrilled to bring it to market and officially launch it to the industry,” he said.
