SunBriteTV Demos Marquee LCD TVs

INDIANAPOLIS — Outdoor TV resource SunBriteTV will demonstrate its Pro, Signature and new direct-sunlight readable Marquee-series outdoor LCD TV lines at CEDIA Expo this week.

The Signature series is SunBriteTV’s price-breakthrough line, featuring outdoor TVs with prices starting approximately 40 percent lower than previous versions across the board, the company said.

All Signature-series models feature the same weatherproof attributes as earlier series in screen sizes ranging from 32 to 65 inches at suggested retails starting at $1,495 (model 3260HD).

The new Marquee series combines SunBrite’s weatherproof construction with a new tempered-glass screen design that allows placements in bright sunlight without experiencing isotropic blackout effects.

All SunBriteTV Marquee models feature the company’s proprietary Extended Solar Tolerance (EST) technologies and 700-nit bright LCD panels.

Each unit also has self-contained heating and cooling systems, allowing the televisions to operate in extremes of temperature from -40 F to +122 F.

They are constructed of weather-sealed powder-coated aluminum cabinets that resist moisture, humidity, dust, insects, sunlight and temperature extremes.

An array of video and audio connections is provided, along with a sealed wiring compartment to keep moisture out.

Models are available in both 47- and 55-inch sizes, in both landscape and portrait configurations, and with suggested retails of $4,995 and $6,995, respectively.

The Marquee series is becoming a popular favorite of commercial integrators, and represent the “best of the best” for residential users, the company said.

The Pro series is part of the original range of products, featuring powder-coated aluminum exteriors and protective anti-glare protective front panels.

Rigid aluminum outer bezels give these televisions superior strength and durability, while the powder-coated finish resists rust and corrosion.

The protective front panels provide added protection to the extra bright LCD display against vandalism.

The series is popular with public and commercial venue installers, the company said.
