Stereo Exchange Marks Silver Anniversary

11/06/2009 12:45:32 PM Eastern
Celebrating Stereo Exchange’s 25th anniversary were (from left) Stephen Defuria, national sales manager at NAD Electronics, Totem Acoustic sales and marketing VP Lucy Lentini, Stereo Exchange president David Wasserman, and Stereo Exchange chairman Bob Engelhardt.

New York - Stereo Exchange went into business 25 years ago
by selling used stereo equipment from a small, cramped room in the city, but now
it's a block-long Greenwich Village institution that sells brand new high-end audio,
video and custom-installation gear from such suppliers as Arcam, Crestron, McIntosh,
Kaleidescape, NAD, Meridian and Vudu.

For its 25th, Stereo Exchange invited consumers, vendors and
other retailers to a Thursday evening celebration topped off with live in-store
musical performances by such musical guests as recording artist Lori Liebermanm,
who was supported by singer-songwriter Eugene Ruffolo on vocals and guitar.
Other musical guests included singer, author and humorist Christine Lavin,
singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist Jim Dawson, jazz violinist Aaron
Weinstein and guitarist Joe Cohn.

About 300 people attended the event, including
representatives of about 20 vendors.
