Stampede Debuts Turnkey Online Store Program

Orlando, Fla. — Stampede, a value-added distributor of presentation and home theater technology, unveiled a new turnkey online store program at InfoComm ’09, being held here.

The eStores Program is a turnkey solution that will enable dealers to quickly and easily operate an online store, the company said. The eStores Program will provide an enrolled dealer with a customized e-commerce Web site. The dealer will determine what products are offered on their site and will set prices. The products available on the site can include both Stampede-provided products and other products offered by the dealer.

When a consumer orders a product that needs to come from Stampede, Stampede will drop ship the product to the consumer and bill the dealer. Consumers will even be able to purchase and schedule installation services for the products they are purchasing, Stampede said.

“We’ve worked hard to make this as easy as possible for our dealers,” said Kevin Kelly, Stampede president and COO. “We know they are A/V experts, not Internet experts. The eStores Program makes it simple and painless for our dealers to dramatically expand their bottom line.”

Enrollment in Stampede’s eStores program also includes the dealer in the “Dealer Locator” feature of Stampede’s online catalog, www.BigBookofAV.com.

Speaking of the Big Book of A/V, Stampede said it has added more than 21 new product lines to its offering.

Among the new companies are: Panasonic U.S., Atlona, Comprehensive, AV Rover, Buhl, Hamilton, Roku BrightSign, D&M Professional, Dynamat, Furman, Gemini, Cortex, I-key, Gefen, H Wilson, Lighthouse LED, Odyssey, Plus Vision Corp., Rise Vision, Williams Sound and Xantech.

Along with adding 21 new lines, Stampede expanded its product offering from the following existing suppliers: Atlas Sound, Barco, Cables-To-Go, Intelix and Exhibio.
