Charlotte, N.C. — SouthWing announced its single-ear SH440 wireless headset, and said it would be available only in AT&T retail stores.
The SH440 is designed for easy setup. When turned on, the headset is instantly in pairing mode, said the company in a release, and it provides voice prompts to help set-up a connection with a cellphone. SouthWing hails the SH440 as being the industry’s first voice-prompted setup system for Bluetooth headsets.
Other features include spoken caller ID and remaining talktime indication, and voice-prompted AT&T services, such as news, weather and sports.
It retails for $49.99 and can reportedly operate with any Bluetooth-enabled cellphone.
