Sony Unveils ‘Make.Believe' Photo Contest

San Diego - Sony
said it launched on Monday its "make.believe (pronounced ‘make-dot-believe')
Gallery" at

The special
program encourages users to submit, view and share images that they believe
best express the spirit of Sony's make.believe brand message:  "Believe that anything you can imagine, you
can make real. "

From Feb. 7-28,
users can submit photos, illustrations or other images to be displayed in an
interactive image gallery viewable by the public.

The one image that
best expresses the make.believe spirit will be highlighted in a series of
unique media experiences to be seen by millions, including an appearance on
Sony's Times Square billboard and a feature placement in a masthead takeover on
YouTube, among others.

A grand-prize
winner will receive a $500 Sony Style gift card, while 10 first-prize winners
will receive a $250 Sony Style gift card. Winners will be selected by a panel
of judges and announced on March 23.
