New York — Sony unveiled the winners of its “My Graphic Splash” PC Design Contest at an event here last night.
The online
, which was judged by reality TV persona Lauren Conrad, graphic designer Maya Hayuk and fashion designer Kelly Nishimoto, was open to consumers nationwide who submitted original designs of the Sony Vaio FW model to sonystyle.com from July 16 to Aug. 10.
The three Grand Prize winners are:
· Amy Neal from Hazel Green, Ala., for her design entitled “Colorful;”
· Kristin Getchell from Royal Oak, Mich., for her design entitled “Kaleidoscope;”
· And Ivan Flores from Arlington, Texas, for his design entitled “Sound Waves.”
The grand prize winners each received a $5,000 check and a Sony Vaio FW laptop featuring their designs. The five runners up will also received FWs featuring their designs.
