San Jose, Calif. – The eBay-owned PC VoIP service Skype announced a new partnership to embed user-generated videos into its calling software.

Skype 3.5 for Windows will allow users to download videos from a pair of partner sites– Dailymotion and Metacafe. Videos from these sites can be saved in Skype “moods” which can be viewed by other Skype users.

Video can also be incorporated into online chats through Skype.

Finally, Skype said it had also introduced an auto-redial function where the service can automatically redial a busy number every two minutes until the call is answered.
